From April 19 to 20, 2018, the state finals of the Playbizz business simulation game for trainees from the state of Bavaria took place in Beilngries. This year’s team from Softway AG took a very good 2nd place.
Organized by the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw gGmbH), trainees can simulate the business management of a fictitious company in a practical business simulation based on a real initial situation. The aim is to generate as much profit as possible within four imaginary financial years and still ensure the company’s solvency. The respective product and the first figures are communicated to the participants at the beginning.
This year, around 29 teams competed for the state of Bavaria in what is now the 32nd remote planning game. The Softway AG team won the preliminary round from November 2017 to March 2018 by a clear margin. The 5 trainees from different areas within Softway AG generated over 38 million euros with their business simulation company.
