SSP Forms developer course

Goals of this course

This course prepares you for the development of Adobe print forms with SSP Forms. In addition to the technical introduction, the main focus is on practical work: participants learn how to adapt their own forms efficiently and in a legally compliant manner – based on Softway templates. This will save you development time, use existing frameworks and get your projects up and running faster.

Course content

1st basic module (3 days / 24 units)
Participants learn about the most important functions and concepts when working with SSP Forms – from layout creation to conditional logic. Contents include

• Use of transactions in favorites
• Create your own form
• Integration of graphics and texts
• Methods for info boxes and positions
• Conditions, condition groups & test methods
• Layout with variables and translations
• Structure for the condition check
• Totals tables & item texts with condition
• Use of test data containers
• General functions & data procurement class

2nd practical module (2 days / 16 units)
In the practical part, participants develop a customer-specific form – with direct reference to their own SAP system. Contents include

• Creating a customer form with Softway template
• Takeover or new development of data procurement
• Customizing adjustments according to customer requirements
• Revision and individualization of the form layout
