DSAG Annual Congress 2018 in Leipzig

“I praise my Leipzsch!”

Hirschaid, 23.10.2018 – The 19th Annual Congress of the German-speaking SAP User Group (DSAG) took place at the Congress Center Leipzig from October 16 to 18, 2018. Softway AG was also represented again this year with a stand. Due to a new visitor record of over 5000 participants and numerous exhibitors from the ^SAP® environment, the event was fully booked long in advance.

As one of the oldest trade fair locations in the world, Leipzig not only shines with a generous infrastructure and excellent framework conditions, but also with a great cultural offering in the background. Economically, Leipzig is already a hub in Central Germany.

Under the DSAG motto “Business without borders – the architecture of the future”, the focus at this year’s trade fair was primarily on major topics such as “Diversity of platforms, differentiation in the cloud and ERP in a dilemma”. Softway AG interpreted the DSAG topic in a more comprehensive way: as an opportunity for new perspectives and a reason to reorganize familiar and often feared structures in the forms area. For this year’s partner presentation with Schüco International KG, new perspectives were therefore adopted and proven solutions were tested beyond the usual boundaries. As usual, Softway AG had prepared a few surprises.

Under the title “Universum Formularwelt – Schneller.Besser.Schwerelos. Make it simple – with Softway and AdobeForms”, Softway AG once again successfully demonstrated how complicated issues can be presented in a clear and yet solution-oriented way with a little creativity. It sent an experiment to the space station and then simulated an entertaining live link to the universe.

“Boring presentations are not our thing,” reveals István Veiland, CEO of Softway AG. “Together with our customer Schüco, we were able to impressively demonstrate that we have developed a solution for the forms sector that can be completely customized and saves an enormous amount of resources and time. Our specially developed solution, the Softway Solution Package Forms (SSP Forms), was convincing across the board”.

“This year, we had many very good discussions and once again realized that the topic of forms affects every company across all industries. The current topic – the conversion to S/4 HANA – once again reinforces our approach of bringing forms up to a uniform standard in advance through reorganization and harmonization. This is precisely where our SSP Forms add-on comes in and enables users to make form changes very easily through customizing, among other things,” says Hans-Jürgen Pfister, Head of Sales at Softway AG.
