WE LOVE FORMS – The first own live event

“Creative minds have come up with a lot of ideas. Our first online event on September 22 was a real success,” says István Veiland, CEO of Softway AG, “and we also came up with a special surprise for the participants!”

The seven speakers presented their exciting topics via a live video link, ranging from ‘Problem-free forms development‘ and ‘Forms for the future‘ to ‘S/4 HANA introduction in 16 weeks‘. Constant interaction with the participants was ensured via chat and video interaction. “This exchange is extremely important for us, but above all for SAP users. We learn more about the current needs of form developers and find out what topics are on their minds,” explains István Veiland, “at the same time, they can ask their individual questions and benefit exclusively from the expertise of our form specialists.” This is why the “Meet the expert” round was also an essential item on the day’s agenda. In an open Q&A session, participants asked the numerous speakers their individual questions on current industry topics such as “What is the best way for an international company to deal with forms that contain both European and Asian documents?” or “What do we need to look out for in our forms when we switch to S/4HANA?” . Exciting discussions ensued between the participants and the speakers.

“But anyone who already knows us also knows how important it is to us to lighten up these serious topics with a bit of humor and fun. That’s why we came up with a surprise for the participants and recorded our first own “form song”. Together with colleagues, we produced “Softway Allstars – 1000 Mal probiert”. The song introduces the listeners to the problems of SAP form developers with a lot of humor and reveals how these problems can be easily solved,” explains István Veiland proudly. “We are sure that this was not our last virtual event and look forward to more exciting event days in the future. Until then, we’ll be happy to remember this special day with our song,” says István Veiland, summing up the event positively.
