A different kind of trade fair day

Around 250 visitors took part in the virtual DSAG X- & E-Invoicing theme day and used the opportunity to find out about the necessary implementation of electronic invoices at the virtual exhibition stands and online presentations. Softway AG was one of 12 exhibitors and presented the e-invoicing solution MSC e-Invoicing.

“In addition to creating electronic invoices, it is important to us to offer users the option of sending invoices directly from SAP,” explains Werner Bergmann, Development at Softway AG. With the e-Invoicing add-on, invoices can be sent directly from SAP with a personal subject and body, for example. “Whether in ZUGFeRD or XRechnungs format. MSC e-Invoicing expands and simplifies direct e-mail dispatch many times over compared to the SAP standard,” adds Werner Bergmann.

Despite the approaching deadline, it has become clear that many companies are still looking for a suitable e-invoicing solution. There is a great deal of uncertainty, as the legal requirements not only differ from country to country. Even within Germany, the processes and requirements for electronic invoice exchange with the relevant authorities vary. Softway AG took the opportunity to inform visitors about the legal framework, MSC e-invoicing and implementation options via chat, Teams and by telephone.

“The virtual theme day was a new and exciting experience for us. It showed us once again how important digital alternatives and processes are. Nevertheless, we are also aware that personal contact and intensive discussions at an event cannot be replaced one-to-one,” says István Veiland, CEO of Softway AG, “we are pleased to be represented at the DSAG Annual Congress again this year as an exhibitor with a partner presentation and are curious to see what form this will take – under the special circumstances.”
