1. Hello Sofiia! Nice to have you with us. Can you please briefly introduce yourself to our readers?

Hello, yes, of course. I am 18 years old, come from Ukraine and have been living in Germany for 2 years. I have been training as an IT specialist in the field of application development at Softway AG since October 2023.

2 Why did you decide to train as an IT specialist?

I decided to train as an IT specialist because I have always enjoyed programming. Even before I applied, I did a lot of programming at home and quickly realized that it was my passion. Physics and mathematics were also always my favorite subjects at school, which reinforced my analytical and logical thinking early on and encouraged my talent for computing. In addition, information technology is a very promising field that is constantly evolving. The opportunity to spend my life working in this innovative field motivates me enormously. It’s a chance to be part of something bigger and new.

3. How would you describe your day-to-day work? What are your tasks at Softway AG?

As a trainee at Softway AG, my day-to-day work is always varied and full of new insights. I naturally spend a lot of time programming, searching for solutions and information on the Internet and discussing them with colleagues. I also often read books, because theory is important for a better understanding of all processes. Of course, there are also specific trainee activities such as the occasional telephone service or taking over the kitchen duties in the company.

4. To whom would you recommend this training?

I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in IT, can think logically and likes to pay attention to detail. For such people, programming will be relatively easy and satisfying.

5. what makes your employer Softway special?

I think that we at Softway are characterized by a very friendly atmosphere in the team. We celebrate together, talk to each other, laugh quite a lot – but the quality of the training is always kept in mind and remains high.
