Adobe Forms Technology Course

Goals of this course

Your introduction to the world of SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe – understandable, directly applicable and tailored to your SAP system. In the Adobe Forms technology course, we teach you all the relevant basics, from architecture to layout design. Your developers will learn how to create print forms with Adobe LiveCycle Designer and integrate them into SAP. Practical examples ensure that what you learn is not just theory, but becomes real practical competence.

Course content

1. basics (2 days / 16 units)
Your developers will gain a comprehensive insight into Adobe Forms (SIFbA) forms technology. Topics include:

• Overview of architecture and technology
• Technical interfaces
• Working with the Form Builder
• Use of the Adobe LiveCycle Designer
• Design of form layouts
• Integration into ABAP programs
• Scripting in forms
• Tips & tricks for practical use

2. Practical exercises (2 days / 16 units)
In a realistic practical block, participants implement a customized form project:

• Development of a data structure
• Creating the technical interface
• Development of a simple form
• Development of the printing program
• Implementation of data retrieval and error handling
