Softway at the Technology Days 2023

For the German-speaking SAP User Group e.V. (DSAG), it was time to take stock of important topics this year. In keeping with the motto of the trade fair – “Work in progress” – the aim was to shed light on topics and identify ways to change the status from “in progress” to “completed”.

Direct exchange with trade fair visitors via the SAP forms system

We gave visitors to our stand some helpful tips on how they can implement their projects in the forms system in order to change the status from “in progress” to “completed” much more quickly.

“Once again this year, we were able to hold numerous exciting discussions with interested parties of all kinds and, particularly in the area of SAPscript forms, we were able to present SAPscript Analyzing Tools, a tool that enables the rapid analysis of complex forms,” summarizes Ortrud Will, Internal Sales & Customer Service.

ADS also in use as a “local solution” after 2027

Once again this year, the 2,600 visitors to the Technology Days were able to take part in numerous presentations, hands-on sessions and expert sessions to expand their knowledge and personal network. The highlight from our point of view, however, was the keynote speech by Jürgen Müller, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Board Member at SAP.

“It looks like there will continue to be an on-premise version of Adobe Document Services. DSAG’s commitment has once again paid off. Many SAP customers will breathe a sigh of relief. Nevertheless, it remains exciting to see how ADS will develop in concrete terms, particularly with regard to performance and costs,” says Softway CEO Frank Engert, summarizing the ADS section.
