Balance meets SAP power: Softway AG at the DSAG Annual Congress 2025

3 days full of balance, networking and information exchange?! That was the DSAG Annual Congress 2025 from the perspective of Softway AG!

Trade fair

With more than 5,500 participants, the SAP community was once again strongly represented at the most important trade fair for SAP. True to the trade fair motto “The Art of Balance: A question of balloons?”, the 180 exhibitors on site presented numerous options for harmonizing SAP projects.

Visitors were also able to choose from an extensive range of information. These included 64 themed sessions with 192 presentation slots, 18 live influencing & roadmap sessions, 48 partner presentations, 33 espresso sessions, 19 keynote speeches and 44 SAP expert sessions and presentations.

Right in the middle: Softway AG with its own contributions on the subject of e-bill and SAP forms.

Espresso session: focus on E-Invoicing

Over a leisurely cup of espresso, the numerous visitors to the exhibition on day 1 of the congress had the opportunity to find out more about e-invoicing and Softway AG’s solution – the Global E-Invoice Cloud – solution.

In the presentation “E-invoicing simply integrated: No code, no chaos! Stress-free implementation using the Business Technology Platform”, Softway CEO Frank Engert and Sales Manager Hans-Jürgen Pfister explained how you as a B2B company can generate e-invoices from your SAP system easily and on time without having to build up internal expertise and make developments in the SAP system. With existing mapping and future-proof software based on BTP.

In addition to the core functions of the solution for e-invoicing from SAP, Frank & Hans-Jürgen also discussed how the introduction of e-invoicing can succeed in Belgium (January 2026) and Poland (February 2026) and what legal differences there are in the respective countries.

In a compact 20 minutes and with reference to another core topic of Softway AG – the simple and fast management of SAP forms.

Partner lecture: Between juggling & plain language

The next highlight of Day 1 of the DSAG Annual Congress was already waiting for us at 5:45 p.m.: Our partner presentation together with the Masa Group. Under the title “Masa Group in Flow: (No) Circus with SAP Forms! Best Practice of a Global Adobe Forms Migration”, Christian Miltz, Director of Group IT Masa Group, and Hans-Jürgen Pfister explained how the migration of SAP forms from SAPscript to Adobe Forms was successful and what challenges were overcome.

In other words, how did the Masa Group manage to use SSP Formshow was the Masa Group able to distribute form knowledge from one person to several and drastically reduce the sometimes very high maintenance effort?

The two speakers were supported by moderator & juggler Julia Schmitzwho ensured the right amount of balance and flow and summarized the key points of the presentation with the help of a graphic recording via juggling.

With the right balance to the main prize!

The right mix of balance and skill was also required at the Softway AG stand! Visitors who dared to use the balance board they had brought to our stand and successfully balanced various objects on their hands had the chance to win one of 3 cool prizes if they were lucky.

On the last day of the congress, we were able to select 3 lucky winners who can now look forward to a pair of headphones, a balance board set and a desk robot. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants once again!

Networking & information exchange

In addition to our skills challenge, we have once again prepared product demonstrations this year to present our products to interested people and get into conversation.

Our trade fair team also enjoyed networking with numerous people from the SAP community and exchanging ideas during the trade fair happy hour and the evening event.
