SSP Forms Release 2209

Extended form customizing, new template and new Formcopy 2.0

The new release SSP Forms 2209 was published a few days ago and is now available for all new customers, existing customers, interested SAP developers and users. As with previous releases, the development team at Softway AG focuses on the continuous optimization of working methods and the precise applicability of SAP forms with SSP Forms. We are therefore pleased to present the new features for a more efficient workflow with SSP Forms.

New layout determination

The new layout determination is case-sensitive. For this reason, it is easier to understand at first glance because it is 100% based on the structure of the decision table.

New template FI payment notification

In addition to the account statement, the payment advice note, the reminder and the balance confirmation, we have now developed another form template for the payment notification in the FI module. The template features distributed data retrieval and has extended customizing for class determination.

Formcopy 2.0

This is a tool with which you can copy SSP Forms Customizing in order to use it for your own form developments. Some functions have been added to the old form copy. As a result, new modules and applications can now be created, applications can be assigned to modules, a layout can be assigned to the form, data retrieval classes and condition classes can be created and various methods can be redefined.

Integration of the info structure output type

This is a new layout type (new maintenance area) with which information is not transferred as a table (as with an infobox), but as a structure. A new area for test printing has also been integrated. The address position, the form color and the zebra pattern can be controlled here using the Settings info structure.

Generation of check methods from the Customizing form

Methods can be used for condition checks in SSP Forms Customizing. These can now be generated automatically and no longer need to be created manually.

Control of the form color, address position and zebra pattern via form customizing

The color of form elements can now be adjusted via SSP Forms Customizing (red, green, blue, grey). In addition, the address position can be controlled (address left or right). Furthermore, a zebra pattern can be activated for the position table.
